Thank you so much! What a birthday, and in color! I always loved Kimba's flashbacks into his past to tender moments he spent with his family, especially his mother, before his parents died, and I never saw the pilot. It would have been healing after Bambi -- the flashbacks did not show how they died though I wish they didn't have to die at all. I wonder if I could have handled it then. I saw the episodes in b/w in the '70's, and there was no VCR-ing.
