We lost Larry's twin brother, the Hennybee, July 17, but were lucky that the Bernilius came to comfort us that same year and be Larry's little brother. But life would never have been the same had we not been graced by a fleetfooted creature with pink ears, a white body and a mark of god on his back. We loved him so.

It hard to lose a loved one. My prayers are with you.
He was a great boy. We will never forget him. Somehow, as we get closer to the date, Bernie or Larry will get temporarily stuck somewhere and I will have to get them out. It's in memory of the great Henry story. When he first moved in, he was very scared. A few weeks later, it was very cold and I turned up the heat, but the radiator cap fell off. Steam was shooting like whipped cream so I told Larry and Henry to get out of the room (Henry kept lingering to watch) and I called the fire department because I had no idea what to do. Well, they came and showed me how to put the radiator cap back on. I apologized for being so inadequate. After they left, I couldn't find Henry anywhere. I called the woman who rescued him from the street. We were all convinced he left with the firemen. However, Larry had been sitting on the kitchen counter with his nose pointed downward for about 40 minutes. It struck me that he had not moved. So, I looked in the direction of his nose, and, sure enough, I saw a little, plump, white back of Henry with his wonderful gray tail. He had tried to hide under the fridge, but he didn't quite fit. So, I promptly and gently pulled out and lifted the Hennybee, who for the first time of millions of others, purred like a beehive in my arms. We were cool. I had "saved" him.
